Hierdie klasse sluit die 4-5 jariges in. Dit is hulle finale jaar by Kleutermaatjies en hulle word voorberei vir Graad R. Die vermoë om emosies te kan verbaliseer, deur tydskifte te kan blaai en voorwerpe te identifiseer, fantasie spel, die konstruksie van meer ingewikkelde sinne en die identifisering van verskillende liggaamsdele, is van die baie vaardighede waarmee gedeel word in hierdie ouderdomsgroep. Twee onderwyseresse per klas behartig hierdie groot verantwoordelikheid.

The Butterflies and seahorses include our 4 - 5 year group. They are prepared for grade R  and it is their final year at Kleutermaatjies. Amongst the many skills they are taught are the ability to verbalize emotions, page through magazines naming objects, fantasy play, construct complex sentences, and identify and show different body parts. Two teachers  per class commit themselves to tend to these little ones.
